When I buy a website or a domain the first thing I do is a bit of research. If you are buying a domain and someone says that its a PR (Page Rank) 4 , you should know that not everyone is honest! You need to check it out and quickly.
Checking the Page Rank:
If you are registering a dropped domain you need an answer quick and you need a complete answer. I found this site. It checks your PR on multiple datacenters.
What is so good about this? Well if your a stats freak like me, and most webmasters are, you like to check and see and know everything from EVERY angle. You can check the PR from a vibrant amount of datacenters, or from a specific range of datacenter i.p.’s. You may check it out here.
Check the Backlinks:
If a site being sold has a large amount of traffic or alexa rank. You shold confirm where the traffic is coming from. Is it coming from autohits or dirty traffic generation methods? Or is it natural traffic? One of the best ways to find out where the traffic is coming from is the referrer stats. If you cant get ahold of those though, use this backlink checker.
This tool lets you not only check the backlinks, but also lets you know the number of outgoing links from the page you are linked from, the Page Rank of the Page, and the anchor text. Thats alot of information from such a simple tool.

BLW doesn’t seem to work right for me. It states I have 275 backlinks, yet I have 0 in Google “links:www.veemoney.com”. I find that strange.
