My List Of Must Have Plug-In’s For All Blog Owners
If you want to make money the easy way subscribe to my RSS feed, and learn how to make money from your feedreader.
Alot of people email me asking which plugins I use on my blog. I thought it would be nice to let you all know in one single post what plugins I am using to keep my blog running. I try to keep it down to the bare minimum because some plugins do slow your blog’s load time down. Thats one of the main reasons that I have never used MyBlogLog, it is sooooo slow!
Adsense Deluxe Wordpress Plugin:
Probably the most useful plugin ever if you are planning on monetizing your blog with either adsense or the yahoo publisher network. Very simple to install, and once its on your system you just feed it your adsense code once and it will give you a code like “<–.adsense–>”, you just plug that into your blog post where you want the ad to be and whammo bammo your set. It also works so that your ads are not shown more than 3 times on a single page this is to make sure that you stay within the adsense TOS. It’s great because this way you can keep the code installed, and if someone clicks on a link to a specific post from a search engine or a link back your ads will still be shown even if the ad is not on the front page. This is a great way to make sure that your older posts are still being monetized.
Best. Spam. Blocker. Ever. You need to have this installed on your blog to protect from all the spammers out there that will try to fill your blog with everything from car insurance ads to viagra pills. You need to have the wordpress API to activate this plugin, and you can get that by setting up a wordpress account and getting your API. After that Askismet will take care of everythinf for you. I can’t imagine what I would do If I did not have this handy little plugin installed.
This was a plugin that was actually “adopted” by the people at feedburner. That means that they must have seen some potential in this nifty little tool. And hey if a company that can sell for $100 Million think its worth it, I can definitly promote it. In the original author’s own words:
Using some WordPress plugin magic, and user-agent detection, this plugin simply forwards all your feed traffic to FeedBurner. The plugin will detect all ways to access your feed (e.g. http://www.yoursite.com/feed/ or http://www.yoursite.com/wp-rss2.php, etc.), and redirect them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber. It will forward for your main posts feed, and optionally your main comments feed as well.
And the statistics that they provide over at feedburner are friggin awesome! If you have a blog with a reasonable sized audience you should install this plugin now!
I use this to make sure that the post title comes before the blog title. This is for the search engines. Before having this installed search engines would see the blog like:
Make Money Online with MubinAhmed.com>>Must Have Plug-In’s For all Blog Owners
Now with this plugin installed it will look like this to the search engines:
Must Have Plug-In’s For All Blog Owners>>Make Money Online with MubinAhmed.com
It helps to keep your site out of the supplementals (which no longer exist by the way), it will also help bring search engine traffic your way.
AS you can see at the end of all new posts there is a reminder for the readers to subscribe to the blog feed. Since implementing it I have seen the RSS subscribers jump by 20. I have only had it installed for 3 days, but will give more of an update as things move along.
This nice little plug-in automatically takes a backup of your blog whenever you want. You can set it to daily, weekly, monthly or whenever you update. Its good if you have alot of posts and dont want your posts lost if anything goes wrong. I learned my lesson when this blog got hacked. And my server lost 3 days of posts. Luckily enough some nice readers were able to provide me with backups of the posts.
Do you have a plugin that I have not mentioned here and you think I should add? Let me know!
Free Wordpress Theme Available For Download
It has been a long time since I released a free wordpress theme, so I decided the time to do it was now. The reason I am releasing this theme for free when I actually paid over $100 for it is because there is a link in the footer that links back to this site. Since wordpress and weblogtools has decided to ban all sponsored themes I have decided I will still release this theme free of charge but will not get it sponsored since all the sponsors are not really interested in sponsoring a theme that will only get downloaded 100 times.
It used to be that you could release a theme and get over 1000 downloads within a week, those days are gone but I still think that through the power of this blog and some other sources I will be able to get some downloads for this theme.
What are some of the benefits of releasing a free theme? Here are your answers:
1) Links: Releasing the themes has led to me getting many links. You can check my inbound links at technorati and see that I have an authority of 422 and a ranking of 8,000. Which I consider very good for a blog that is as new as mine. Also it helps with the page rank which will help when selling text links or getting other advertisers in the mix. I have recieved links from high authority sites and also .edu backlinks!
2) Traffic: Getting a template featured on themes.wordpress.net or any other high traffic site will lead to huge amount of traffic your first few days, and than a steady trickle. I check my stats everyday and everyday I have people coming in either from their own admin panel or people clicking through on the footer link.
3) Branding: It’s a great way to get your name out there!
So without further ado here is a screenshot of the theme:
You can download it by clicking on the screenshot.
You can also check out a full screenshot by clicking here.
I will keep everyone updated with how many downloads and backlinks it gets.
What Has Happened With Agloco?
Agloco for all of you that have been living under a rock is a company that will pay you just for surfing on the internet.
Now what do I mean by pay? In a normal sense it would mean that you would get paid “x” for doing “y”. But put in the terms of Agloco there are many different ways that you can get “paid”. Here is the very simple and not at all confusing ways to get paid as mentioned on the agloco blog.
Monthy Viewbar hours: Based on the hours you and your referrals surf each month, you will get a share of the “distribution pie”. Your share is equal to your percentage of the total hours accumulated by all Members (including referral hours). How would this work? Here is a hypothetical example. Suppose in a given month AGLOCO distributes $100,000 for that month’s hour accumulation. Also suppose that the total hours all Members have accumulated that month is 1,000,000 hours. This means that AGLOCO would pay $0.10 for each hour you are credited with that month. So in this example if you had accumulated (yourself plus referrals) 500 hours that month, you would be paid $50.
Total Viewbar hours: AGLOCO may also pay in the same manner as above based on total accumulated hours. This would “weight” the payment more towards those Members who joined and began accumulating hours earlier (including the time before the cash payouts have begun).
AGLOCO buying Hours for Cash: Here’s how it would work. AGLOCO would set a price per hour (say, $0.15), and we allow Members to sell their hours back to us at that rate. There would likely be a minimum number of hours you could sell. For instance, AGLOCO may only allow you to sell in 100-hour blocks. Hours that you sell would be deducted from your total accumulated hours for future distributions.
The only one that I understand is the last one. What it pretty much states there is that they will probably buy back the hours from you no doubt at a highly deflated price, so lets say if they earn $1 for every hour you spend online they will only pay you $.10.
Which scenario will come into play? Who knows… the company is still up in arms, and I for one am surprised that they have got this far. So far this is the first pre 2k company that I have seen come back for a rematch in Bubble 2.0.
Something that i have also noticed is that JohnChow, one of the most vocal supporters of agloco has not only stopped publishing updates about the company but he has also stopped bragging about how many people have signed up under him. Usually you could expect an update from John once a week about how many thousands have signed up under him. Have people stopped signing up? I doubt it. I think John has finally learned that this companies plans might not be as viable as expected and decided to distance himself from a sinking ship?
What do you think has happened to the publicity beast that was agloco? Have people just gotten tired of talking about it? Have others also learned that it might be a scam? Do you Think its a scam? Let me know people im interested in hearing your thoughts on this matter.

The Script For Making Your Own Online Image Host
One thing I forgot to do in my post about making money online with your own Image host was to let everyone know the free image script that I had actually implemented. Out of all the comments people were seriously interested in knowing where they could get this free script from.
If you were smart, you should have just gone to the image host and seen that I had not removed the link to the script. But some people still wanted to know.
mubinahmed very nice work:)
i’v question for u which script did you used? coz i’v been looking for while for script and i cant find good one

Well, you guys are lucky. The script is actually free, you can download it from here. If you want to know the name of the guy that installed it for $3 let me know, and I’ll hook you up with that as well.
And just to answer another quick question:
Hedge asks:
What’s the name of the statistic thing you use on the upper images? The screenshots are just too small to read the text.
It’s called awstats, and I love it more than analytics or hitcounter or anything like that. It comes pre-installed on most hosts with cpanel, but if not you can download it here.
Link Bait 101. Get someone to tatoo your site on their ARM!
One of the blogs that I love to read is The Grown Up Greek, his posts are always insighful and he has just recently taken down 99.99% of all the advertising off of his blog. Yet the man still manages to make over 6k a month online.
It just goes to show you that you don’t have to stuff your blog full of ads to be successful. How much love does this guy get from his readers? I think this picture should prove it beyond all doubt:
Yes, all these images are real. You can see the full post here, and also check out the video of the tatoo’s being permenantly etched into the guys skin. Who is the guy? His DP username is “Sunnybrew”, and I heard the reason he has not yet etched my name into his arm is because he saving that for his right arm, and he wants to bulk it up so it can handle all the awesomeness that is MubinAhmed.com.
The other tatoo’s that he has put on his arm were for shoemoney and digitalpoint forums. This is srysly the kinda stuff that would have me looking over my shoulder if I was the Grown Up Geek.
But c’mon guys when you are gonna get my name tatooed on your BODY!
