Yep, you heard it here first. As of this morning http://www.mubinahmed.com has been dropped from the GooGle Serp’s.
What can I say? I guess I must have done something to Piss GooGle off or they just don’t like me. I can understand why they would wanna hate on a playa like me so Im not going to say anything to them the next time I see them.
This is just me ranting and trying to figure out what the HELL I did wrong??
Spam? No.
Buying Links? No.
Selling Links? No.
Link Exchanging? No.
The only thing that I guess could be misconstrued by GooGle is the fact that I had released over 20 Free Wordpress themes and they all had a link back to this site. Those themes were in turn downloaded by 1000’s of bloggers which in turn led to 1000’s of backlinks for this site. As of now that is the only logical explanation I have been able to come to.
So I guess I got rewarded with Page Rank 4, and than Bitchslapped by being dropped from the SERP’s… What do you think happened?
ShoeMoney For the WIN!
I really don’t like talking about other people’s success more than I have to, but this is just amazing. As you all know shoemoney and JohnChow were locked in this evil death grip with regards to a RsS competition. And for all intents and purposes it looked like John Chow was bound to win getting 5,000 additional Rss Subscribers. This really disappointed me as i was damn sure that shoemoney would win this without a doubt.
And than last night shoemoney made a plea to all his readers, now this plea can not be considered as heartfelt and emotional as the speech given by Leonidas in 300, or William Wallace in Braveheart but it still stirred all the internet geeks and fan boys to enter their email address and become a part of something bigger. And while it looked like Xerxes (JohnChow) was going to win Leonidas returned with his army of 18,000 RSS SUBSCRIBERS!
Alrite enough kidding around.

Getting Dugg and TechCrunched in The same Day. 3 in A Row
I guess you have to be really lucky nowadays if you can even manage to get your site to the front page of dugg, what with all the diggers out there and there heavy handed ‘bury’ button. But some sites do get very very lucky. One of those sites just happens to be docstoc.com, if your reading this post on the same day that I am posting it don’t bother clicking on the link as it has been down for the last half an hour. It seems that the people at docstoc can not handle all the traffic that is eating up their servers at the moment. You have to remember they are not just a site where people can come and read, but at this point in time they have 1000’s of people probably uploading documents to the site, hence the reason the reason the server is being hammered to death.
DocStoc is the YouTube for Documents. Hence DocStoc (Document Stock, get it?) I love how these new startups are so smart with the way they name their companies. Here is the description from TechCrunch:

Today, when the site has been made public, it has been mentioned on TechCrunch, and been Dugg already. Whats even better is that the article on TechCrunch was also Dugg to the front page. Now that is one hell of a way to start a business.
Do I think it will succeed?:
Hell YES! This is one of those ideas that everyone is probably kicking themselves in the butt wondering why they did not think of it first. The idea was obviously good enough to get the venture vulcans involved so it will definitely be a huge success, but thats not the only reason.

So. Who’s going to make the next Top 100 List?
It has been awhile since the last top 100 (insert whatever title is hot) list was released, so I am expecting a new one to be coming out sometime soon. What I really hate to see is someone take the list and copy and paste it without giving credit back to the original author. The whole point of putting together the tedious list is for the purpose of link bait, and yet people decide to just copy it and pretend it is their own work. What is even worse is if someone copied it and was ranking higher than the original author for that term. Now thats a biatch and a half right there.
I was wondering what people that come together with these lists would now do that all the bigger bloggers have been cut down in PR and some low grade bloggers like myself and cashquests have come away with PR 4 and PR 5, thats the same as the ProBlogger and JohnChow.
So for all you real bloggers out there looking for a bit of link bait here are some ideas for you to ponder while you pretend to look intellectual having your coffee with your iBook at Star bucks:

Every Single one of My Damn Proxies For Sale.
One of my readers once asked how I handled my proxies that I always blabbered about, one of the things I thought that they were trying to ask me was whether or not I really had that many proxies…
