Sold the eBook for $1000, and had a Good Time.

For everyone interested in my latest money making venture you will be proud to know that I have sold the master rights of my eBook for $1,001. It was a interesting offer and I took it. I was offered $1,500 but the buyer never came through. I could have taken the easy route and listed it on sitepoint. But the thing I have learnt about sitepoint is that NO ONE PAYS!

Funny thing was that once I was paid I was told by my hosting provider that I could not transfer the domain until 60 days had passed. Obviously this made me feel like a dick because I had just taken a payment of $1001, and if I told the buyer that he could not have the domain he would have been pissed off, and rightfully so.

In the end it all worked out though, and I made the sale and am quite happy with it.

At least with digitalpoint you know most of the time who you are dealing with, and whether they are trustworthy or not.

The eBook was a great traffic source for me though, and it brought in a influx of over 1,000 readers to this blog. But it was very time consuming as well.

Before anyone starts accusing me of photoshopping I did edit the damn screenshot in paint so that it could fit the screen better, I swear to GOD I have to learn how to add/resize images properly in wordpress.

As you can see the sales of the eBook did pick up to the point where I was making about $200 a day just from selling the eBook.

With that goes another one of my nice web assets, I am not sure what to do now!!

I have asked the uberaffiliate known as Sup3rnova for some advice, lets see if he responds.

Whaddya all think I should do?

6 Days And NO Updates?

I know I know. It’s been a while since you got your daily dose of Mubin loving. But things are very hectic at the moment.

Releasing and advertising that damn eBook have been more hectic than I ever thought, The amount of Private Messages you get from people asking all sorts of questions is crazy. BUT YOU HAVE TO ANSWER them because its your responsibility. I tried to make the eBook as simple as I could but there are some things that some people just don’t get and you have to try to help them.

Big shout out to Randy Brown, he released a eBook that sold nearly 1,000 copies and he has let me distribute it along wtih my eBook for free. He made a special version 4.0 or as I like to call it the Mubin Ahmed edition.

The new sales page while not as snazzy as all the other long crappy sales pages out there is getting the job done effectively. (The only new thing about it is the fact that I have added two traffic screenshots, and the info about Randy’s book)

The new post on DigitalPoint is Rocking with Sales.

I did a post on Namepros.com and it got me exactly 0 responses and 0 sales. While that forum is geared mostly towards domainers I thought that it would get some interest but ALAS nothing.

In my personal life things are going crazy as well. I can’t make any big announcements just yet, but expect one soon.

I have stopped eating Lunch so I can start losing some damn weight. Needless to say by Mid-Afternoon I am a very very angry man.

Writing an eBook is a good Idea.

I never thought that writing and selling an ebook would actually be a good thing for my own blog. I knew that it would be good for my paypal balance, but what I did not expect was so many hits to my actual blog as a result of it.

The ebook has only been out for about 2 days now and my traffic has already doubled. While the RSS feedreaders are still at the same level, that is still okay because if you keep updating than those people that check back on your site once a week will than be inclined to subscribe to your RSS if your posts interest/intrigue them.

Since the people buying or reading the ebook are inclined to be interested in Making Money Online that makes them the perfect candidate for becoming a prized reader of this blog and in turn a conversion for me.

Everything I do is an experiement and writing this ebook for the first time was an experiment for me. As you can see on my sales page for the ebook about how to make money online with a image host. It is not the BEST landing page in the world, but thats okay because I am not driving traffic from PPC or any other paid campaigns. Anyone that gets to my sales page should have read the threads where I talk about making money online with image hosts or the posts where I talk about how much money I have earned.

At this point I don’t care if any more copies are sold because I am happy with the traffic that I recieved from the eBooks release alone. Plus with more copies of the script that are released the more the market gets saturated.
