Im not really into politics that much, espiecially Pakistani Politics.  But that is what I am.  I am a Pakistan at heart, and what has happened today has shook me.

Our first ever female prime minister was killed in a suicide bombing in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.  It appears that not only was she attacked by a bomb, but she was also shot.  So this was not just your normal suicide bombing but a assasination attempt.  She was just recently allowed back into the country after being cleared of corruption charges and was at a rally promoting her Paksitan Peoples Party for the upcoming election in Pakistan.

This attempt was the second on her life, the first one occured the same day that she landed in Pakistan on her way home from the airport.

She was the daughter of Zulifikar Ali Bhutto.  He was also hanged in a controversial court ruling in 1977 where political opponents got him charged with organizing the murder of his opponents father.  He was hanged and he had no funeral procession.  It was a politically motivated hanging.  Benazir Bhutto and her mother were held in a “police camp” until the end of May, after the execution.

In 1980, Benazir Bhutto’s brother Shahnawaz was killed under suspicious circumstances, in France. The killing of another of her brothers, Mir Murtaza, in 1996 (BY THE PAKISTANI POLICE), contributed to destabilizing her second term as Prime Minister.

She may have been a politicain but she was also a mother and a wife.  She has left behid three children  Bilawal, Bakhtwar, and Aseefa.

She was the aunt of Fatima Bhutto, who is a poet, and a journalists in Pakistan.  I am a big fan of her work personally, and support her.

Whatever your political affiliations are, DEATH SUCKS.

Taking someones life is not cool, and it should not have happened.  I feel for the family as it seems they are turing into the Kennedeys of South East Asia.

Thinking About Selling Your Site? Take this Advice

Are you thinking about selling your site? Before you go to make that post officialy announcing that you are about to sell out remember one thing. DON’T TELL THEM EVERYTHING!

Yes, I mean it God Damn it.

So many people make the mistake of telling everyone that wishes to read the post where the traffic is coming from, how they marketed the site, and how they made the initial site.

Now, I am not the most tech-savy person out there but even I have been able to duplicate results of successful sites in HOURS instead of weeks and months.

How do you think I learned how to promote image hosts? I didn’t trawl through GooGle looking for ways to post, I saw it in someones sales thread or even better link:theirsitename.com so much information its not even funny!

This is a bit of a ramble, but I just wanted to warn my readers. I hope this doesnt stop too many people from doing it though or I might be out of luck.

So much like mother’s of the 1990’s warned their daughters not to let the boys have their way with them before marriage. I am telling you, you don’t need to give out a list of referrals or explain your marketing strategy in a post on a public forum, that is something between you and the new site owner and can be discussed in private.

Adbrite Rocks the House. And Kontera Sucks.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen the smoking gun. I took adbrite off of one of my sites for 3 days to try to test kontera. I had heard lots of good things from people like John Chow. And I also read on Randy Brown’s blog about how he was making some good money from it, so decided that I would take the chance and test it out.

I took down the adbrite inline ads and installed the kontera code instead. I was told in my introductory email that it would take at least 2 WEEKS for kontera to fully optimise for my site and than my earnings would really start to come in.

Well thats just great, but 2 weeks is a RIDICULOUS amount of time to wait for the “specialist” in inline advertising crawl and optimise for my site. That means for 2 weeks I am supposed to sit around and do nothing. I may be lazy, I may be a sloth. BUT I EXPECT BETTER FROM YOU DAMMIT!

In comparison lets take a look at the adbrite earnings:

Now adbrite is mainly a CPM advertiser, that means that they pay you for every impression on their ads. They are great for sites like image hosts, file hosts, proxies, and the particular site I am running. While I am making some good money from adsense I am also making the same amount from adbrite, and will continue to rock it.

Kontera may be good for people that can cut deals with them and get paid on a monthly basis for a set amount. But when I am serving 100,000 ad impressions a day and you report 20,000 page impression it will piss me off.

When you should be indexing all my pages and alls you can manage to do is index my index page it will piss me off.

When you say one thing and than back track on it. It will piss me off.

How To Make Money By Releasing Free Wordpress Themes.

I know I have not been updating this site as regularly as I want to, and I have not been putting in a lot of time recently so I thought I would hit you guys up with a post that would rock your world.

I have used this method to make over $3000 in one month, and over $500 in one night, and it still works.

This is a simple step by step method on how to make money with wordpress themes:

Step 1: Buy a wordpress theme. The best place that I have found to buy a wordpress theme is here, you can get one fully coded in the cheap price range of $50-$200. I have seen themes sold for $30 on here fully coded.

Step 2: Now that you have your theme you have to figure out how to monetize it. Very simple. SELL LINKS! Google doesn’t like paid links, PR is dropping… WAH WAH WAH cry me a friggin river man. People are still buying links. Where do we sell links? The best place is again on digitalpoint, now don’t be greedy and start adding 10 links in the footer because no one will buy, and anyone that does will promptly have his or her link removed by the blogger when he finds out the footer of his theme is filled with links. Your best bet is to add 3 sponsored links and one designer link. You can get away with selling a sponsored link for about $30 and a designer one for $50.

Don’t be disappointed by the price though. I have had some links sell for upwards of $200 a piece. Want some proof? Check out this post and this one. (You can copy my sales pitch if you want to).

Step 3: Rinse and Repeat. Seriously does it get any easier than this?

Where The Hell is (Upper) Middle America?

I just recently launced a new website. Don’t want to discuss the exact website just yet, and even with about 5 days downtime I worked hard the last few days to get the site back to the same amount of traffic that it had in the days before the downtime and at the moment it is back to its former glory! The one thing I have not been able to figure out though is: Where the hell is middle America? I know the screenshot below is not very descriptive because I had to reduce the size and quality. But if you check out the next one you will see what I am talking about. Now I know what you are all probably thinking.

Why the hell am I using Amung.us when I could be using Awstats, and Analytics. I use all those programs as wel but for some weird reason I like Amung.US because it tells me how many users are on the site at any given time.

Now if you take a look at the next screenshot you can see what the hell I am talking about:

As you can see I got the East coast down pretty good, the West Coast is coming along pretty nicely as well. Its just middle America that has me concerned. Where the hell are you guys and why aren’t you coming to my site? Are you also blocked like the people from Communist Russia and China? Wake the hell up.

Anyone got any ideas on what the heck I am doing wrong?
