Janury Earnings Report: $3,300

Well ladies and gentlemen here we have it again, I have finally earned a decent enough amount to post a earnings recap of what has happened in the previous month.
Usually when I open a site, I place some adsense ads on that sucker, sit back and relax never worrying about how much money it is making me. But recently I have learned that if you want to make some real money you need to diversify your income paths. NEVER PLACE ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET. Now when I say that I am not dissing adsense or anything like that, I am just saying you should have contingency plans in place in case things go wrong.
Whilst a large amount of my online income is still coming from Adsense I can now proudly say that I am implementing some other methods of monetization.
Lets get this party started.
Adsense:
With adsense my websites earned a total amount of $1,344.21.

Next we shall move on to Adbrite:
With adbrite we have earned a grand total of $864.49
Amazon:
With Amazon I earned a grand total of $42.00. Its not the greatest amount but its still better than nothing.
With paypop up one of my sites has earned $306.76. I have not implemented this on all my sites as I don’t want to just yet, but may be doing that sometime soon.
New to the lineup is the money coming in from the sale of my ebook as you can see I have had a nice amount of turnover from the sale of the ebook. I have earned about $625 from the sale of the ebook. At the moment the eBook is being sold for $25. When I first started selling the ebook it was for only $10, than increased the price to $15. At this point in time I have increased the price of the eBook to $25. I have actually made a post on digitalpoint stating that I will be increasing the price of this eBook in the near future. So if you were ever interested in buying it, now is the time.

Why I Love the Amazon Affiliate Program
Here’s a pretty simple reason why. $16.05 in just one day. I’ll be the first to admit, that Amazon is not always the greatest and you can go a few days when you only earn about $3-$4 a day.
But than WHAM BHAM THANK YOU OFFICER. You get one of these suckers jumping out and smacking you in the face.
I know you people are probably thinking why not pop a adsense unit in that sucker and make more money from the clicks?
Well what the hell I am supposed to do when the site is already fully optimized with adsense, adbrite, paypopup? And affiliates have not really performed well on that site?
I took a chance with Amazon, and I can already say that I am quite happy with the way that it has perfomed.
I am running a very small amazon widget in my sidebar and it takes up the LEAST amount of adspace on my whole site, and it does quite alrite.
By the way the majority of the income was from this product. Who the hell needs needs a electric razor with a lcd?
Breaking the $100 A Day Mark.
I have finally done it!
With a brand new site less than 2 months old I have made $100 in one day. Im not sure if this will continue, I highly doubt it, but I do know that I will try my hardest to continue to make this much every Sunday and continue to make $50-$75 every weekday.
I knew I said that I would stop posting stats because I was pissed off about GooGle stopping referrals, but it turns out I was wrong and this was just some downtime on GooGle’s part. The fact that no apology or explanation has been given is a cause for concern. Whilst I am only making about $30 a day from them, there are peopleout there counting $1000’s of dollars a day with the referral program. Its a damn shame that this had to happen and that no explanation was given.
Now on to the earnings.
To make the $100 I had to use 4 different methods of monetization. Thats right people, there is something out there besides adsense and you need to start using it to optimize your sites revenue potential. Otherwise you will be stuck with whatever CPM GooGle decides you deserve for that day.
The following methods of montezation were used:
- GooGle Adsense For Content
- GooGle Referrals
- Adbrite (Banner and In-Text)
- Paypopup
- Amazon Affiliate

And with Amazon we made a grand total of $9.77
Total Earnings: $106.09
Yes, I know some of you are thinking that since I am using popups I am a “bad” person, but you should know that I am only showing it to 8k out of the over 30k people that visited the site on Sunday, thats less than 33% of the people that are shown it. And its a popunder so it is not very obtrusive. Also ONLY 1 POPUP! So back off Im trying to get rich!
Finally Broke $1,000 Mark With adbrite
When I signed up for adbrite one of the first things that I decided I wanted to do was make sure that I was not being lazy with them, I only wanted to cash out with them when I was making at least $1,000. I am proud to say that today I have done it! I have finally crossed the $1k Mark with adbrite.
Here is a screenshot of the earnings:
As you can see I slowly and steadly increased my earnings. The first few months I was just earning money from my image hosts which were making about $5 a day. Nothing great, but I stuck to my guns and kept my payment threshold at $1,000.
I am going to continue to use adbrite as it has beaten any other intext advertising service that I know of. the support at adbrite is also great. They claim to get back to you with answers in 48-72 hours, but I have seen most of my questions answered within 12 hours, and to top that off I even got responses on both Christmas Eve, and Christmas DAY!

Okay guys here you go. Not going to be filling in much fluffer content as I broke down most of the information for you all yesterday.
But here are the screenshots, since these will be a daily occurrence from now on don’t expect me to talk about them too much!
Here is the adsense screen shot for yesterday:
As you can see the adsense earnings have gone down about $4.00, thats okay though because from Monday to Thursday we actually see a decrease in traffic. This will pick up from Friday to Saturday.
Moving onto the adbrite earnings which were a grand total of $19.85.

As you can see direct traffic has pretty much stayed in line with yesterday trends which is good as long as it’s not going down because that is one of the things that I am trying to improve for this site.
