How I Made $3,500 In May. Doing Nothing Really!

This is my earnings report for MAY, I know it took me a month to post it, but it had to be done sooner or later, lots of things were hectic and thats why I could not get this post up in the start of June when it was supposed to be posted. The screenshots are missing because I lost them simple enough, Im sure you can trust me though. Some of the figures are gone to because of hardware failures. To make up for this I am including a slick picture for all you ladies to drool over, and if your a guy and your into other guys please don’t say anything because seriously I will not post any more pictures.
The money earned this month was less than what I had expected to earn. After making 2.6k last month I was hoping to cross the 3.5k mark this month, but was unable to due to the blog being hacked. I am not sure why the heck someone would want to hack this nice little blog of mine as it’s just about 3 months old. But I guess I did piss someone off now didn’t I Mr. Hacker?
Anyway while the blog was down so were a few of my other sites including my YouTube downloader. So I had to spend a lot of time getting things in order. Let me tell you it was a very hectic week for me and a damned shame as well as readers was really starting to pick up.
Anyway back to the making money part. Here’s a breakdown of how the money was earned.
Link sales: $2020
Site sales: Missing, lost data
Reviews: Missing, Lost data
Adsense: $400.00
Total: $3,500..
As you can see link sales were again my highest earners.
As you can see the adsense revenue has settled in at about $400.00. I’m glad with this and think it has settled down at this. The pages views per day have settled at about 10k a day. Don’t start patronizing me, as I have some really low earning sites but they require very low maintenance and they pay for the dedicated server. With the money left over I am able to buy some nice toys for myself.

SITE SALES:
This was the first month where I went out and made sale for turnkey sites. I didn’t sell that many but was able to make a nice profit of about $24 from each site sold. I was selling a clone of my YouTube downloader. Link Sales:
Well as usual, link sales were my highest earners. How did I do it? Very very simple, I bought word press themes with full rights, that essentially make me the owner of the theme, and I can do whatever I want with it.
What do I do with them? I give them away for free. So how do I make money from this? Very simple I sell sponsored links on the bottom of the theme or in the footer as we l33t people like to call it.
The profit on these is amazing. I could pick up a theme for about $40. And sell a link on that theme for about $60-$70 each. Usually selling about 2-3 links on each theme. It’s that simple, but then you have to get people to download the theme. I had a site set up where people could download free wordpress themes, and even set up a blog so that it could be indexed better. The gallery script being used of the main site is not very seo friendly so I decided to set up the blog as well and get it indexed nicely.

Reviews:
As usual the reviews were carried out privately so I got no orders from review me. I also decided to take down their button from my sidebar as it was not giving me any results.

Clarification On My Post About Proxies Being Dead
The Post:
It all started out simple enough. I saw a decline in proxies. I myself own over 100 proxies, and know another 5 people that own over 1k. Im hosted with thewird who owns probably one of the biggest proxies on the internet.
The post that seems to have rubbed all the proxy owners the wrong way is the one where I say the proxy business is dead. It came on the heels of this post about the google adsense warnings and bannings. Now as you can see there is some pretty good proof in all those posts about what happened. The reason I made the post about proxies being dead is because I was causing more harm than good.
What?:
Now everyone seems to think that I have given up on proxies. That I am a traitor to the cause because I have turned my back on proxies. Thats not true. I had 40 proxies when I started, and now have over 150 proxies to my name. I am still running my network and still paying for my server for those of you that are interested in knowing that.
Why?:
Why? Why would I tell everyone proxies are dead if I went and bought another 100 domains to put proxies on them? There can only be one reasonable explanation… I am running the competition out of town. Right? Wrong! The reason I did it is because I was getting emails from new webmasters telling me that they had bought a $210 server, and a domain and were not making money. Or that they were making money, and than it stopped, or they got banned.
It seems that everyone wanted a proxy but were unwilling or did not understand that you did actually have to put some work into it. Actually alot of work into it.
So I’m tired of all these so called guru’s talking about me on other forums, when they are the same people that have messaged me and asked me how to get started. I only wrote the post to let some people know the downfalls of proxies. It was the responsible thing to do, I mean if I am posting pictures of me with a $1,500 check, people should know it wasn’t the easiest thing in the world for me to do.
$2,683 A Month Part II. Making Money Online Without Adsense.
Introduction:
This is the finale of a 2 part post about how you can make money online without using adsense. Just wanted to shout out to all the newcomers on the blog coming from a variety of different places. And now without pimping my blog too much its time to get back to how to make MONEY ONLINE! In the last part I kinda left you guys hanging without giving you the final 2 ways I used to achieve my $2,683 without adsense.
Site Sales:
Now as many of you do know I own a LARGE proxy network consisting of over 150 sites. I started with 50 and just added the other 100 a few days ago. As we all know there was recently a PR update and in this update my 50 sites had all achieved PR. Now the highest PR I got was 4, and the lowest a 2. This blog actually got a 2 with so many links pointing to it! Anyway, before and after the PR update I was busy selling sites.
There were 3 types of sites that I sold.
- TurnKey Sites
- Proxy Sites
- Proxy Sites Converted into Directories.
Turnkey Sites:
If you read this post, you can see that I was/am selling site packages in groups of 5 for $10 each. These sites make people money because they have adsense on them. They are great if you have the server space and if you take like 50 of them you can start earning about a dollar from the network. Not bad at all, these aren’t the kind of sites that you should depend on if you need the income asap, these are more like the extra cream you put in your coffee. They are nice to have but you shouldn’t expect to make a living off of them. Revenue: $300
Proxy Sites:
These are my bread and butter where I get my daily income from. I didn’t really want to sell them, but lets just say I had some friends that read a few posts and they wanted in, they were too lazy to make their own, and insisted I sell them some of mine. Nothing much I could there, so I had to sell them. They didn’t really pay top dollar but what can you do eh? Revenue: $700
Proxy Sites Converted into Directories:
This is one of those things that you look back on and realize what an idiot you are. I thought that because my domains now had PR I should convert them into directories and try to sell listings and than try to sell the directory. HUGE MISTAKE! If you don’t know what your doing stay the hell away from it. Luckily I wasn’t that stupid and only sold one, I actually only got one bid for $50 a sold it ASAP. Revenue: $50
$1050 = Total Revenue from Site Sales, that $50 will haunt me forever.
Now lets move onto Link Sales, be forewarned that link sales didn’t make me that much this month, but next month you should see a HUGE increase.
Link Sales:
As you know I Run proxies (How long till you get tired of heraing that?). Anyway people email me and ask for links to be placed on them. Most of these are Myspace Related sites, or sites targetting kids. People like them because proxies GET LOTS AND LOTS OF TRAFFIC. I didn’t advertise that I was selling links, but people contacted me. Revenue: $350
I have now started to actively sell links on my sites. Both through forums and Text Link Ads.

My Adsense Stats For April. Making Money Is Hard!
Last Month:
As was stated last month I made a nice mouth watering $1,500 with adsense from proxies. This month was not so good for you friendly neighborhood online money maker (ME you idiot!). Costs Last Month: $340
This Month:
This month proxies had a really really bad time. If it wasn’t for all the bannings and warnings from adsense, it was the whole proxy.org conspiracy. I did take adsense OFF of my proxies for 1 week in between so please take that into consideration. Please take a look at this screenshot:
As you can see I only made $450 this month. But one thing to think about. I spent exactly $0 on advertising. This was an experiment on my end to see if I could make money without advertising. Obviously I could, but it wasn’t ALOT of money like last month.
I have spent alot of money already this month on advertising my proxies, and have paid to have a brand new network built up. The network is HUGE consisting of over 100 proxies!
