Congrats To John Chow on breaking 9k Rss Subscribers

As some of you may or may not know Shoemoney and John Chow have had a recent competition to see who could gain the most RSS subscribers in one month. When the competition started on October the first this is what the stats looked like:
Now as you can guess at the time of publishing Shoemoney has more subscribers than Mr. Chow. But the competition is not who has the most subscribers but who can GAIN the most in the timeframe of one month!
As today is the 2nd of October lets see where the stats stand now:
John Chow has finally succeed in crossing the 9k mark, which amazingly enough happened the day after he posted about his competition. I think that considering he has posted an earning of an amazing 20k for the month of September we will now see the stats skyrocket even higher tommorow.
So far Johnchow is in the lead with 478 new subscribers compared to Mr. Shoemoney’s 384 new subscribers.
This is going to be a very interesting race.
John Chow is known for his interesting marketing tactics. (Link Bait, Diggs, EVIL, Adsense Pings). But will he be able to beat one of the most well known internet marketers out there? I mean this is Shoemoney afterall!
I think we will see some interesting adsense ads from John Chow where interested clickers get sent straight to the Rss subscription page, and other underhanded techniques whereas a simple request from shoemoney to some of his buddies could put him in the lead.

Funny to see that this contest will bring in so much more cash for both bloggers. At several posts JohnChow and Shoemoney expains how much one subscriber makes them. What is a subscriber worth: JohnChow aprox $11,- , Shoemoney $3,-. Count the profits.
