Cops Using Banner Ads On Their Cruisers

I know I know it may sound crazy but its true. You may be wondering how the heck a cop can put a banner ad on their car? Well it’s not because of lcd’s attached to the car to make a crazy display and confuse drivers. Okay enough crazy talk.

It seems that the Toledo, Ohio police department needed to replace some of their cars, and because they didn’t want to wait for the government to pony up the cash they decided to get business owners to pay to advertise on their cars.

In exchange for $15,000, the cars will have a 3 by 1 foot ad placed on the rear quarter panels.

Thats crazy talk right there, I mean I understand it’s a lifetime of advertising and all, and maybe the first few businesses that got in on this got a lot of good press, but with 15k you could have run a huge PPC campaign and even gotten advertising on ShoeMoney for just $1500 a month…

But whatever floats your boat.
