Do You Believe in the GooGle Sandbox?

If you want to make money the easy way subscribe to my RSS feed, and learn how to make money from your feedreader.

After getting a site ranked on the first page of GooGle for the terms “firefox promotion” I am starting to have doubts about this theory on sandbox promotion.

I am starting to believe that the term was something invented by frustrated SEO’s to convince clients that had sepnt 1000’s that the reason that the site is not ranking for the term “home loans” is because of the ever omnious GooGle Sandbox.  What they fail to mention is that some sites get indexed and ranking for top terms WITHIN hours of DOMAIN REGISTRATION.

Yes, it is harder to get a site about “credit card repayments” ranking on the first page.  The reason?  First there are over 1000 credit card companies that deserve to be there before your spammy site because they actually have the qualitity content that the searcher is looking for.  Obviously visa or mastercard are going to rank on the top because they are an authority/trusted site.  They have people linking to them on an hourly basis for no particular reason.  They have people on their site staying on their site for more than the 30 secs that they would on your site.

So there you have it ladies and gentlemem.  I have officialy claimed that there is no such thing as a GooGle sandbox.

    Dude Mubin.
You seriously need to do more research. I have hundreds of sites and i have experienced SANDBOX with almost everyone of them.
You dont understand the fact that the age of the DOMAIN/PAGE is the main factor in sandbox. Some guys try to be smart and do blackhat SEO to get good results. On the other hand, Google has improved its algorithm. They figure out that this guy wants good rankings on high competitive keywords.
Your site will be most probably VANISH from the search engine until Google thinks its grown up to be given such a place.
Sandbox exists and is more real than you might think.
Goto WebmasterWorld and ask other professionals. They will agree too.

Bro, the sandbox is real. Trust me. It’s not uncommon for a new site to get good rankings for a day or two (longer in some cases) and then disappear into the sandbox for awhile. Age def. plays a factor - although I’ve seen older domains get sand-boxed at times too (its less common).

Buy a brand new .INFO domain and you’ll see how much Google hates them. In my experience they are usually the easiest to get sand-boxed (80-90% of the time for obvious reasons).

The sandbox exists, i have seen it, in fact I can see it right now. There go my sites stuck fast in this sandtrap far away from the searching public. I need me some links to fish them out.
