Ebay: The Ending. Proxies: The Start

As was discussed in the last post, I said that I bought these 99¢ eBooks to get quick feedback on eBay, the reason being is because I wanted to get higher feedback so I could list multiple and one day auctions.
When I was finally finished with eBay I had over a 100 of these eBooks sitting in my email account, and was just looking through some of them. While most were garbage like “David Blaine: Revealed” and “Quit Smoking in 3 days” others were well written with intriguing titles. I knew that most of these books were made up and I rarely ever believed what I read. But the term adsense just kept on coming up and up. There was also the infamous picture of the guy with the adsense check for $132k, little would I know that one day I would be using the same forum as the person that was holding the check (ShoeMoney). I decided I had to try it out.
I mean what was there to lose right, the cost of registering a domain and maybe some hosting? I got a deal on hosting from hostgator. And the domain only cost me 4.99. Plus all the content was free! How was the content free you ask? I saw ads on eBay of people selling sites with 166 money making categories for like $15, this same site script was available from someone with the website freesitedeal, com, it worked like this, you sign up for hostgator hosting through them and they give you a completely free site.
I thought I was in the money now. Surely having 10,000+ pages of content would lead to me making an easy $100 a day. What I didn’t know at that time was that the site I was given was a “MFA” or Made for Adsense site. These sites are not looked upon kindly by webmasters or search engines for that matter. While there was a lot of content on the site it was duplicate content and thus my site had nothing unique to offer anyone. Getting traffic to the site was close to impossible and over the course of 3 months I was only able to get $50 into my adsense account. This. Sucks.
While I was on my quest to make my riches online I came across two webmaster communities http://www.NamePros.com, and http://www.DigitalPoint.com. These sites are the reason I am currently making over 1k a month. Proxies were what I decided on next, this was where the money was, and that is how I was going to make money!

Can I have a look at your proxy site Mubin? How much does it cost for its hosting? And how much do you make from it per month?
I started a PHProxy site at DreamHost and they disabled the site as it was not permitted. Here’s the site URL: http://www.showblocked.info
It was generating decent amt thru AdSense b4 my host shut the /proxy script page.
