Is the Web Apps Idea Not Sustainable?

A lot of people/good friends of mine have been talking smack. Saying that I would not be able to pul off getting a successful web application made, what do you. My readers think of this? I mean you know that I know how to make money right? You’ve read the posts:
- Making $3,500 Doing Nothing

- How to Make Money Online With a Free Image Host
So let me know in the comments on whether or not you think it can be done?

I honestly dont think you can. If you can’t keep posting on your blog, you quite clearly dont have the skills to launch a web app.

I’d say the odds are against you, only because there is so much competition and so much other krap already saturating the market.. that being said, i would still say it’s possible - look at Shoemoney and AuctionAds. that wasnt even a new idea and yet him and Dillsmak were able to pull it off - and make a few $$ when they dumped it..Did you ever even tell us what this WebApp idea is ??

A web app is 100% possible. For those of you who say the market is saturated look at the rest of the internet? It is nothing but competition. However, a unique idea, or an old idea with a new twist I believe would work very well. I say go for it Mubin. You have actually inspired me to embark on the same project. If you have a clearly identified goal (your web app) and a detailled plan of action, you simply need to execute your plan and yes you can get this thing done and launched.

Depends if you make something cool and useful. I used to try and make nice web apps, but when they never caught on I just switched back to crappy sites.
