The Making Money Site Case Study

As I suggested in my last post this blog is going to be having a kind of reawakening. We are dusting off our shoulders to show you the readers how we (non dot-com moguls) are trying to make it rich by sitting on our butts all day and trying to pretends like we are busy.
The first thing that we should do is talk about the site. I will not tell you the actual site url or what it is about. (So that means Im pretty much telling you nothing)
Here are some things that I will tell you:
- Very Very Ubber Competitive Niche (I am talking 10000’s of competitors)
- 2 Primary Monetization Methods
- Over 20k Hits a day
- Not A Proxy
- Not A Image Host
- Not A Search Engine
- No Paid Advertisement
The site is in a very competitive niche, I am against competitors that are cut-throat and will try to do anything to make sure that your site is below theirs. It is a very tight-knit community (A part of which I have not been accepted YET).
At this point in time I am hitting the 20k hits a day very regulary. I am sure I could be hitting more except that my server experience downtime at least once a day, and there was a period when the site was down for 3 days. You can read about that wonderful expereince I had here.
Now, from Monday on a DAILY basis we will have a breakdown of the following:
- Previous Days Earnings:
- Previous Days Traffic:
I know all you voyeuristic readers will love that part wontcha.
Tommorow you can expect more information regarding a breakdown of where the traffic is coming from, and what methods of monetization I have used.
I seriously suggest you subscribe to the rss feed to make sure you don’t miss any of these posts.
