What Do You Do When You Don’t Feel Like Updating

If you want to make money the easy way subscribe to my RSS feed, and learn how to make money from your feedreader.
That’s right someday’s you just dont have enough time to update your blog. This could be a problem if you are wanting to update your blog everyday. So I have come up with this list of things you can do to manage your blog if you want to take a hiatus for a few days, and still have it updated. Though you will probably have to learn how to use the Timestamp Feature of wordpress before you can do it.
1)Guest Blogger:
If your blog is even remotely succesful, you should have no trouble getting a guest blogger. It is good to find someone in advance, so that you can let them know when they should have their post ready by.
This also a post in itself, you could post that you are looking for a guest blogger, and what the requirements are.And let your readers know why and when you will be needing one. You should be flooded with requests. Remember you should have a steady and loyal reader base before you attempt to do this, dont attempt this when you only have a few readers, or if your blog is really new.
2) Renew An Old Post:
If you have alot of posts it may be a good idea to bring an old post back to life. Take this blog for example it started out with being about how to make money with proxies. It has evolved greatly know, and i believe few readers have had a chance to take a look at those posts. Hmm maybe i should be bringing some old posts to the forefront for some of the new readers.
This trick also helps with the rss scrapers. Rss scrapers are people that subscribe to your full feed and use a cron job to automatically post your content on their blog or site, if you are linking back to your site in the post it might drive readers of the rss scraped site to your blog.
3) Run A Competition:
Too lazy to blog? Run a competition. Give away a free t-shirt or a domain, if your too cheap to do that the least you could do is give a free link or a free review. What kind of competition? Simple things like review my site and the best review wins, or drop a comment and one of the comments will win. This is great, because it lets you relax and people do all the work for you.
4) Share Some Links:
Some people call this link love or pr love. Others call it their shout-outs. I know what it really is though its an attempt by the blogger 2 relax. He doesn’t really want to tell you about the great site he came came across or show you a link to another blog that they think you may find interesing. What’s really happening here is the blogger could not find a decent topic to write about that day so just threw a haphazard post together.
This can also be done with videos from youtube, just pop in a nice little introduction or witty comment and embed the video and your all set for the day. If you do feel like doing any of these please don’t forget to link back to me!
