Will Make Money Online Bloggers Ever Get a Book Deal?

Answer: No.

There has been alot of talk recently about how the guy from “stuff white people like” has earned over $300,000 from a book deal! You will probably be reading all sorts of posts from the mainstream make money online bloggers talking about how you can get a book deal and start making money.

If you have a niche that is interesting enough to get the attention of the main stream media than maybe you have a chance. But if your blog is about eCPM’s and affiliate revenue chances are that you will not be getting a book deal the size of what that guy has made.

If on the other hand you write about something interesting and unique. Something that can be immortalized in a book without the need for updates you may just have a fighting chance.

Take Tuckermax for example. He is not known as a blogger but just someone that wrote stories about his life. Albeit his life is much crazier than what any other normal decent person lives, he was able to write stories about his life that people found interesting. His writing was so good he made it on to the NY times best seller list twice. No small feat. You see because his book went on the list, than came off and than went BACK ON.

Another interesting online blogger you may or may not have hear about is maddox. He is hilarious and talked about things that no one else would. He was one of the few people to call out Chrtistopher Reeves.

So whilst this is a good thing for online bloggers, if your niche is celeberities, gadgets, or making money online. Don’t expect a call from the publishing house anytime soon.
